A day after her statement to a newspaper created controversy, Delhi’s former Chief Minister Sheila Dixit has taken a U-turn and slammed people for “twisting her words”.
Taking to social media platform Twitter, Dikshit on February 24 tweeted about her statement and said Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi has “the sensitivity of a mature leader”.
Rahul has the sensitivity and concern of a mature leader. His words are those of a young, courageous and restless man. #DontTwistMyWords

A day before, in a newspaper interview, Dikshit had said that politically Rahul Gandhi is still not mature as he is just in his 40’s and his age does not allow him to be mature.
Her comment were soon trolled by many on Twitter, and was even taken up by BJP President Amit Shah, who ridiculed Gandhi by saying “immature Rahul should be kept at home instead of being sent to Uttar Pradesh”.
