A delegation of eminent Muslims called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 13 and appreciated his Saudi Arabia visit and development agenda.
The members of the delegation included Maulana Kalbe Jawwad – Shia Cleric; Kamar Agha – expert on International Islamic Affairs; and Shahid Siddiqui, among others.
The prime minister thanked the delegation who called on him, and reiterated his commitment to development, laying special stress on education, especially girl child education.
PM Modi hoped that the Muslim community in India shall be able to get benefits from the NDA’s welfare schemes such as the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, and Mudra Yojana initiated by the NDA Government.
The delegation also praised the prime minister’s development agenda and his successful implementation record.
The delegation also said that the people in West Asia, Central Asia and North Africa, especially the youth, are extremely impressed with his development agenda and want good relations with India.
