Recently, Priyanka Chopra’s exit from Salman Khan’s film ‘Bharat’ has created stirred up a lot of controversy. After PeeCee decided to not do the film because of her business in her personal life, Salman Khan vowed to not work with her ever. While she has now been replaced by Katrina Kaif, Salman Khan lashed out at the desi Girl in a recent interview in his own bitter-sweet style. It looks like a similar controversy could now shape up from Deepika Padukone’s front.

After the remarkable success of Padmaavat, Deepika Padukone was prepping up to sign another big film. However, as per the buzz, the actress has walked out of the project and returned the payment.

Starring opposite his ‘Piku’ co-star Irrfan Khan, Deepika Padukone was all set to begin shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj’s next film. The film was believed to be based on the story of gangster Sapna Didi.

If reports are to be believed, the shooting for this film was to begin immediately after the release of ‘Padmaavat’ but has now been held up for long. This happened after it came to be known that Irrfan Khan is suffering from a rare disease and had to go to London for getting treatment.

Owing to Irrfan Khan’s unavailability, the making of Vishal Bhardwaj’s film got into trouble and the shooting could not begin. In such a situation, Deepika Padukone has decided to quit the film. Reportedly, she has said that she will definitely get in touch with Irrfan Khan when he is back in India.

As per the buzz, Deepika Padukone has returned the signing amount to the makers of the film. At the same time, it is also being speculated that Deepika could have stepped down from the Sapna Didi biopic because her wedding is just around the corner and the preparations are in full swing.

As per media reports, Deepika will be tying the knot with her long-time love Ranveer Singh on November 20 this year in Italy amidst the presence of a few close friends and family members!
