BJP Removes Dayashankar From Party Posts After His Outrageous Comment On Mayawati

After uproar over BJP leader Dayashankar Singh remark, comparing Mayawati’s conduct to that of a sex worker, the party has sacked him from all posts.

Dayashankar, who is one of the 15 BJP vice presidents in Uttar Pradesh, made outrageous comments on camera against BSP chief Mayawati.

Though he later apologized for his remarks, Mayawati rejected the apology.


Mayawati, who got support from leaders across parties, demanded Dayashankar’s immediate arrest for his derogatory remarks.

She added that the nation will not forgive the BJP for this, especially with what is going on in Gujarat. She said in reference to the controversy on thrashing and humiliation of four Dalit men in Gujarat for skinning a dead cow.


Union finance minister said that the party regretted the leader’s slur.
