According To Samajwadi Party Leader Ram Gopal Yadav, Cycling Is Better Than Yoga

Today is International Yoga Day, when the world unites to perform yoga. But according to Ram Gopal Yadav, the national representative of Samajwadi Party, cycling is a step ahead of yoga.

So what does he suggest? Cycle, of course! On Yoga Day, Yadav launched a cycle yatra in SP bastion of Etawah in Uttar Pradesh.

Yadav believes that an hour of cycling is better than ten asanas of yoga combined. He added that he is not against the practice of yoga.



His comments come on a day when Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the people in Uttar Pradesh’s capital, Lucknow, in performing yoga.

Yadav is of the opinion that a cyclist will never be a victim of heart diseases or any sort of body pain, since pedalling is a great exercise that keeps body healthy and full of energy.
