The FIFA U-17 World Cup is just a few months to go and the All Indian Football Federation (AIFF) is trying it’s best to get everything prepared beforehand in order to make the event a lofty affair.

It has now been contended that Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo might visit India in July for the main draw of the FIFA U-17 World Cup.

If everything turns out to be in order, the Portuguese star is likely to attend the FIFA U-17 World Cup draw in Mumbai on July 7.

AIFF President Praful Patel recently said, “We are talking to Portugal Football Federation. We also are trying to interact with Ronaldo’s agent. If he is free on that particular day, he will be gracing the FIFA U-17 World Cup draw function in Mumbai on July 7.”

It has already been confirmed by the organizers that World Cup winner Carlos Puyol will visit India in May. He would launch the sale of tickets for the FIFA U-17 World Cup which is scheduled in the month of October.

It is believed that Cristiano presence would take the tournament to an entirely different level. In fact, it will inspire the players and fans more, like never before.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s club season with Real Madrid will end on June 4 when they take on Juventus in the UEFA Champions League final. He would then make his way to Russia for the Confederation Cup 2017, which begins on the June 17 and ends on July 2.

Ronaldo became the first ever sportsperson to reach 100 million followers on Instagram, last week. To express his feelings and make a thanksgiving for his fans, he went live on the social networking site and addressed his fans.
