The video of a head constable, Surinder Singh, using a mobile phone while riding a motorcycle has gone viral. Moreover, in the video, he is seen slapping the youth who tried to record his video. This incident took place on the dividing road of sectors 36 and 37, Chandigarh. The youth saw the cop breaking the traffic rules, and thus, started riding next to him while making a video from his mobile phone. He also reminded him that if common people use a phone while driving, the police issues a challan. The cop without saying much immediately slapped him.
Sumit Kumar Tiwari, the person who recorded the cop’s video, uploaded it on a social networking site and also sent it to SSP (traffic).
The Police has recommended suspension of Surinder’s driving license for three months. SSP (traffic), Shashank Anand, said that the head constable has been challaned for two offences and his license has been seized.

Not only suspend! Its a criminal assault & attempt to murder. Victim was either on a motorcycle or driving the car & could have been injured

He is the only one person caught on camera but there lots of similar people roaming around and the similar action has to be taken on them.
