The 2019 general elections are almost here! It goes without saying that ruling party BJP and opposition Congress will have a fierce battle to capture the satta. The parties are leaving no stones unturned to uplift their image and blotch that of the others. From newspapers to social media, the reflection of preparation for the battle is apparent everywhere. Each party is trying their best to show that the other one is worthless. Sadly, in a recent post, Congress ended up giving a same side goal.
Wondering what happened? On 1 February, Union Minister Piyush Goyal presented the Interim Budget in parliament. Following that, official Facebook page of Indian National Congress posted some pictures claiming they are a reality check for false promises made in the budget speech.
Though there were many claims by Congress, one particular picture grabbed the attention of the netizens instantly! It’s a blunder math mistake that put INC right in the middle of social media trolling. Wondering what they did? Check for yourself!
It seems the social media profile handler of INC is a bit weak in mathematics!
Naturally, the netizens were quick to seize this opportunity and troll congress. While some mocked the mistake, others went as far as saying that it was posted by Rahul Gandhi himself. There were also some who hilariously said that the account is handled by some BJP guy! Here are some of the comments:
