You Can Get Tickets To Coldplay India Concert Absolutely Free. Yes, You Read That Right!

Coldplay is one of the most admired and popular music bands in the world. Their style of music is soft, enlightening and open-hearted. They have a massive following in India and the fans have been anxiously waiting for them to perform here for a long time now. So they had reason to be elated when it was confirmed that they will be performing in India this November.

Two days ago, rumours were afloat that they would perform in Mumbai on November 19 and tickets are priced anywhere between Rs.25,000 to Rs.5 lakh. But there is a way to get free tickets!

‘Global Citizen’, a social action platform, organises music festivals to bring awareness about the significant issues like poverty, education. This time, as a part of their global poverty project, Indians will get a chance to eradicate poverty while enjoying a concert by one of the world’s finest bands.

To get tickets for free, fans have to sign up to become a member of  ‘Global Citizen’ and work in support of education, equality, and sanitation campaigns. One can sign up for their campaigns from Monday, September 12, onwards.

 



According to ‘Global Citizen’:

“Starting Monday, tickets to the Global Citizen Festival in India can be earned through the new platform by signing up to become a Global Citizen and completing the festival’s action campaigns at GlobalCitizen.IN. In its first year, Global Citizen India will offer a wide cross-section of content and actions focused on creating meaningful impacts in the areas of education, equality, and clean water and sanitation”
