5 DIY Cocktail Recipes To Sort Your Next House Party

Abbas Burmawala, a gold, silver and bronze medalist from one of the biggest culinary competition in the southern hemisphere has created amaze balls cocktails to rock your next house party. These simple, easy on pocket DIY cocktail recipes will make sure it’s not just your guests having a blast, but you too! 

1.Green Lantern

 Add all the ingredients into a blender besides kiwi fruit. Blend the mixture and strain it in a glass full of ice. Muddle a kiwi fruit and put it in the cocktail and stir it gradually. Top it up with sprite (additional) garnish with a kiwi wheel from the land of New Zealand.  

 

 

2. Crème Brulé

Add all the mixture into a boston shaker ( or blender) shake it or mix it for a good amount of time preferably a minute or so. Pour it into a martini glass. Blow torch the mixture lightly (kitchen fire blow torch) then sprinkle powdered sugar on top on the martini and blow torch it again to caramelize the Brule and have it a crunchy top. – a must have dessert cocktail especially after dinner boozy drink. It will satisfy your guests to bits because of its awesomeness.

3. Kiwi Lime Mojito

The magic of this cocktail lies in its ingredients. Throw out the recipe book and just mix all the ingredients by shaking it well in  a cocktail shaker. Serve with rocks and enjoy the kick!

 



 

4. Jamaican Me Crazy

Add all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and pour it over a glass full of ice.{ Top up with soda or sprite (additional )}  garnish with grilled pineapple chunks on toothpick. This drink is one of the best drinks that I have tasted.

“It indeed reminds me of Jamaican culture and tiki flavours. And having a grilled pineapple chunks to bite on makes the icing on the cake. It is a tad bit boozy but its all satisfying!” says Abbas. 

 

 

5. Simon Go Back

Add all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and pour it into a martini glass. Garnish it with edible flower or keep it straight and simple. – A very English drink, with subtle flavors running on your palate. It will remind you of sitting in an English garden waiting for the sun. It is indeed a smooth going and easy to make drink.
