In a video that has emerged on social media, one can hear two sides of the same point, ironically made by the same person, just while he is posted in different positions at different times.
Surprisingly this person is none other than our very own Prime Minister Narendra Modi who now days is busy addressing rallies in different parts of Uttar Pradesh looking at the upcoming assembly elections.
The video shows a part of PM Modi’s speech while he was addressing a rally in Lucknow few days back and then part of CM Modi’s speech on the same topic that he made some years back.
While in the first part of the clip PM Modi claims that his government has given UP government a Rs. 1 lakh crore each year which means Rs. 2.5 lakh crore in the past two and half years, he hints it is not a small amount and goes on to say that the UP government has not made proper use of this money to help people.
Meanwhile, the video moves on to the second part of the clip where we can see Modi again, only this time it’s part of a speech that he made as the CM of Gujarat and where he had slammed the Central government for saying that they had given money to the Gujarat government.
Further in the second clip, he has even accusingly asked the ministers if the amount given to Gujarat had come from their pockets or if the Gujarat public was beggars asking for alms?
In both the clips the speech ends by Modi claiming that the money belongs to the people and no one else, only in one occasion he is blaming the central government, while in the second one he is defending it while using the same logic.
Here is what he said.
