‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’ was the most iconic film of its time. Raj and Simran’s sweet romance with Simran’s typically traditional family in the backdrop created an intense impact that no one can forget! All the characters in the film played their roles so perfectly that it looked like no one could do it better than them. Be it SRK as Raj, or Kajol as Simran, or Amreesh Puri as Simran’s super strict father or Farida Jalal as her sweet mother.

Another unforgettable character in the film was played by Kajol’s onscreen sister Chutki who blew everyone away with her super innocent chashmish look! She listened to her elder sister’s love story and was her mom’s laadli beti! The role of Chutki in ‘DDLJ’ was played by Pooja Ruparel who made her debut in Bollywood as a child actor in 1993 with ‘King Uncle’.

No words to describe!

Jaw dropping! Literally!

Pooja Ruparel, who is 35 years old now, is a stand-up comedian and also hosts karaoke nights at some popular clubs in Mumbai. On screen, she was seen alongside Anil Kapoor in 11 episodes of television series ’24’. Apart from this, she has done many other television serials such as ‘Amit Sahni Ki List’ and ‘Zabaan Sambhalke’. In 2015, she did an underrated film ‘X: Past Is Present’ that also starred Radhika Apte, Swara Bhaskar, Huma Qureshi and Rajat Kapoor, but unfortunately failed to perform at the box office!

When ‘DDLJ’ completed 1000 weeks, she also made it to ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ along with rest of the cast of the film to celebrate the occasion, looking absolutely ravishing! Don’t you think she has grown up stunningly beautiful and elegant? Share your thoughts with us in comments!
