On November 8, PM Modi announced that Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 won’t be considered as legal tender anymore. The move was taken to curb black money floating in the market. Well, many appreciated his move, however, common people have to suffer as they have to stand in long queues and ATM often goes cashless just within few hours. Many don’t have a penny to spend right now.

Author Chetan Bhagat, who doesn’t shy away from giving his opinion, didn’t disappoint us this time either.

In a series of tweets, he criticised unprepared and unplanned move of the government.

He also objected the  government move’s on the ground it asks ask everyone to prove that they aren’t tax defaulters.

Besides having cult following for his books, Chetan Bhagat has loyal trollers’ following. And, they didn’t disappoint him.

Was Chetan Bhagat right and trolled unnecessarily? Or was he wrong? Tell us!
