As soon as the news of Sridevi’s death in Dubai was broken by her family, the entire nation was gripped in shock and sadness. Initially, it was believed that she died of a massive cardiac arrest but her autopsy later revealed that she died of getting drowned in bathtub of her hotel room in Dubai where she was accompanied by her husband Boney Kapoor.

Some of the things revealed as facts surrounding Sridevi’s death have failed to match with each other. This has made her fans and media speculate if it was a murder and not a natural death. Also because she was quite fit and active physically, it is difficult for her fans to believe that she could die of getting drowned in a bathtub.

It has been more than 3 days since Sridevi passed away but fans don’t seem to be getting over the jolt any time soon and want to know each and every minute detail about her mysterious death. Realizing this very well, a number of media houses seem to be encashing the opportunity quite well and playing the TRP game.

But it is sad to see that some of these channels have stoop to unbelievably low levels. They are doing all sorts of things right from creating virtual recreation of the scene with Sridevi in bathtub and Boney Kapoor reaching her to reporters themselves getting inside the bathtub to figure out what could have happened at that time.

Such reports and the media channels presenting them have crossed all limits of sensibility and are being slammed on social media for such extreme insensitivity. Check out some of these in the tweets below:

As if she knew how much wine Sridevi had had (just in case she did)!

Ek se badhkar ek. Literally!

Absolutely. He is the winner!

Did they have their camera in their bathroom?

This indeed shows Indian media has died a shameless death.
