Updated on 4 February, 2018 at 1:37 pm By

Are you someone who think all the scenes in Indian films are shot only in the studio or somewhere in the foreign lands? You are probably wrong. There are many scenes in Bollywood films that have been shot not from the studio or anywhere but from the homes of the actors and actresses or directors. Here, we take a look at some of the celebrities’ homes that have been used for shooting Bollywood films.

1. Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat – Fan

The film ‘Fan’ was about a stalker fan and his obsession with his celebrity idol, both characters being portrayed by Shah Rukh Khan. In the film, there was a particular scene where the fan was trying to see his superstar amidst the bustling crowd outside his house. That sequence was actually shot outside Shah Rukh’s Mannat bungalow.

2. Pataudi Palace – Veer Zaara and Rang De Basanti

The scene that showed Zaara’s family in Pakistan in the hit film ‘Veer Zaara’ was shot from the famous Pataudi Palace, which belongs to Saif and Soha Ali Khan, in Haryana. Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s ‘Rang De Basanti’, which incidentally also starred Soha Ali Khan, also shot a few scenes in this royal property.

However, due to complaints by neighbors, the glimpses of the actor’s lavish pad will be limited.

7. Arpita Farms, Salman Khan’s Panvel farmhouse – Bajrangi Bhaijaan

Few scenes of Salman Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ were shot in his farmhouse in Panvel, which was named after his sister Arpita Khan.
