Kangana Ranaut has been in the news for all the wrong reasons so far. The Hrithik-Kangana-Aditya-etc controversy has become never ending but there is something exciting about Kangana to talk about. After ‘Queen’ it’s Kangana’s ‘Simran’ people are looking up to. This latest movie of Kangana Ranaut is something everyone is talking about because of the revelations that the Central Board of Film Certification has made about the movie.
People were celebrating when Pahlaj Nihalani got replaced by Prasoon Joshi, unfortunately, the censor board is the same. The CBFC has ordered almost ten cuts in Hansal Mehta’s ‘Simran’. However, Mehta has peacefully accepted the board’s order!
As per the report published in DNA,
Derogating women by gesture or language will never be permissible under any guideline, be it Pahlaj or Prasoon. Also, out is the word bast**d. A casual reference to the Muslim community has also been censored.
Among the cuts “recommended” by the Central Board of Film Certification is the word ‘b*tch’, which has been ordered out in six places.
The report further says that the CBFC feels that Kangana Ranaut’s sex moans in the movie were too provocative,
The most interesting cuts are onomatopoeic. Loud moaning sounds during sexual intercourse have been asked to be reduced. The sound effect made the sex scene look far more provocative than it actually was. So, it was asked to be toned down.
As soon as the Tweeple came to know that CBFC feels that the sex moans of Kangana in the movie were too provocative and it has given an ‘A’ certificate to ‘Simran’, they started trolling the board. Here’s how they reacted,
Prasoon Joshi or Pahlaj Nihalani, business of cuts thriving at censor board. so is discomfort with women/pleasurehttps://t.co/i6oww74BsxAdvertisement
