Sri Reddy is an Indian actor and TV personality who belongs to the Telugu industry. She first made headlines a few months back when she staged a protest against sexual harassment in Tollywood.
On April 7, 2018, Sri Reddy independently staged a semi-nude protest outside the headquarters of the Movie Artistes’ Association (MAA). The actress stripped down outside the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce building in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.
Through the demonstration, the actress sought to bring attention to how the industry bigwigs exploited aspiring actresses. She made some serious accusations against known actors and filmmakers of Tollywood.
And Sri Reddy is making headlines again. This time the actress has shifted her focus from Tollywood to Kollywood. Sri is making shocking revelations about how industry stars lure girls into their beds. She has posted a string of messages on her social media account under the hashtag- #tamilleaks.
In one of the first posts, Sri mentioned how she met Raghava Lawrence and her experience of the meeting. Here is the Facebook post she made:
She also posted something about Tamil hero Sandeep Krishana:
Sri also targeted Kollywood director Sundar C. in another post:
In another post, Sri Reddy mentioned that she has been denied the MAA membership. As per the actress, the reason behind this was a legal case filed against her. She then called out to 900 other MAA members and asked if none of them had any complaint against them. Check out the post below:
The actress also broke out with the news that she is receiving threats for continuing these leaks.
She also informed the media that actors and directors approach budding actress for casting couch, through writers, producers, and artist managers. She reportedly told Indiaglitz the following about the industry bigwigs:
“They usually choose girls who are desperate to make it big in the industry and ask them to give them company in return for a better role and recommendations.”
She further added:
“The shocking thing is sometimes an actress should satisfy the entire crew right from the co-ordinator to the makeup man to cameraman and right up till the hero.”
Sexual exploitation is a horrific crime which should come to an end soon. And we hope the efforts by Sri Reddy are successful.
