1. Ariel in “The Little Mermaid”
The beautiful Ariel is based on the famous child actress Alyssa Milano of the very hit show “Who’s The Boss”. The big eyes and the bubbly personality of Ariel is borrowed from Alyssa. “The Little Mermaid” tells the story of Ariel who wants to be a human.
2. Disney Princess Snow White
The very popular Disney Princess, Snow White, is based on the famous actress of the 1930’s and 1940’s Marge Champion.
The big eyebrows, the charming smile, and attitude of Aladdin has been taken from Tom Cruise. It is said that, originally, Disney wanted to model the Arabian character after Michael J. Fox, but they went with Tom Cruise instead.
4. Belle in “Beauty And The Beast”
It is said that Sherri Stoner, a famous writer and producer who has written for famous animated hits of the 90s like Tiny Toon Adventures, and Animaniacs, was the reference for designing Belle of “Beauty And The Beast”.
5. Betty Boop
One of the earliest and famous cartoons, “Betty Boop” was actually a parody of actress Helen Kane.
6. Edna Mode in “The Incredibles”
The amazing stylist from “The Incredibles” is said to be based on a real-life stylist Edith Head. Throughout her career Edith won 35 Academy Award nominations for her wonderful work.

The Milhouse Van Houten’s character in “The Simpsons” is said to be of Paul Pfeiffer.
