Teen Patti is played with a 52-card pack without jokers by 3-6 players. The players are dealt three cards face down each. Players can decide to play blind or chaal. The winner is the one with the best hand or the one who stays until everyone else folds. It’s similar to Poker, but Teen Patti is easier to master. This game uses a 52-card deck and is played against the dealer. The rules are easy. A first card is dealt and placed at the center of the table. The player then makes a bet choosing whether the next card, with the same face value, will appear on the Andar or Bahar side. After this is done, the dealer deals cards, one by one, Andar to Bahar or Bahar to Andar (depending on the suit of the first card). If the card lands on your chosen side you win.
A minimum of two people plays Go fish. The cards are dealt, and the remainders are placed face down. The player on the left side of the dealer goes first, requesting for and taking cards that match theirs. ‘Go fish’ is said when the other player does not have the card needed. The sayer of ‘Go fish’ begins to request. The sets of the same cards collected are placed face down. The winner is the first to complete the set with no remaining cards. If there is a draw, the one with the higher number of sets is the winner.
2-5 players can play Snapjack, and the dealer deals the cards face down. The game starts with the person on the left side of the dealer. He opens the card at the top of his pile and places it at the center of the table. Others follow suit with their first cards till someone plays ‘jack.’ All players will try to be first to place their hands over the face-up pile. The successful player adds the pile to his stack and the game continues with the player on the left starting a fresh pile. The last person left with cards during the game wins. Sequence is a game ruled by face and numerical order of cards. It is played by 2-5 players, and all cards must follow an order. The cards are dealt face down and the player to the left of the dealer reveals the least card they have. The other players follow suit with cards that follow the sequence till the ace is gotten. A new sequence with the least card begins with the last player, or if a played card can’t be followed. The winner is the player with no cards left.
