Capt. Ayush Yadav lost his life in the fidayeen attack on an army camp in Kupwara area of Jammu and Kashmir this Thursday. 26-year old Capt. Yadav, was posted in the army through the National Defense Academy 3 years ago.
Capt. Yadav lived with his family in Defense Colony of Jajmau in Kanpur. When the news of his death reached his family, barely a few hours after they had spoken to him, the family was inconsolable.
While talking to the media about the sudden death of his son, Captain Ayush’s father, Arun Kant, accused the government of this unfortunate incident. He said that it wouldn’t have been so painful if he died a martyr fighting on the border of India. According to him, the government is not paying any attention to the situation in Jammu and Kashmir.
Straightaway targeting the Central government, Arun Kant said that the attitude of a political party when it comes to power is completely different from what it is when it is in the opposition.
Kant also revealed to the media that he had spoken to Captain Ayush on the evening before the attack and that his son had refused to come home owing to the unfavorable situation in Jammu and Kashmir. Recalling some fond memories, he also said that he kept requesting his son to get married before he gets retired. To which Capt. Yadav would always say,
Papa you have nothing else to talk about
Capt. Ayush Yadav’s sister and mother could not stop their tears on their loss!
Arun Kant is in favor of stringent action upon Pakistan and says that now is the time that India teaches its “enemy” a “lesson”. He went on to say that what has happened to his son should not happen to someone else’s child.
