Two explosions rocked Belgium’s capital city on Brussels on Tuesday morning. The blasts tore through the departure hall of Brussels Airport.

At least 30 people are dead and scores injured following the explosions.

Reports by Belgian news agency Belga said that just before the explosions shots were fired and people heard shouts in Arabic.
It must be noted that these blasts come in just four days after arrests were made in Brussels with regard to suspected terrorists involved in November 2015 Paris attacks.

Since the arrest, Belgian police have been on a high alert for any reprisal action.
Videos of the attack have gone viral on social media, with pictures showing smoke rising from the departure hall and windows of the hall shattered by the blasts.
Authorities at Brussels Airport took to Twitter to not only keep people updated but to make sure they didn’t panic.
Don’t come to the airport – airport is being evacuated. Avoid the airport area. Flights have been cancelled.
