Ranbir Kapoor’s role in ‘Sanju‘, the Sanjay Dutt biopic, is creating a lot of buzz since its trailer got released. In fact, netizens can’t stop gushing over the uncanny similarity between the actor and the real hero. Right from Ranbir’s look, to his dialogue delivery, to the intensity in his voice, the film has all the makings of a super cool biopic.

The trailer of ‘Sanju’ has everyone excited as they can’t believe how Ranbir resembles ‘Baba‘ so much. The films’ director Rajkumar Hirani also just posted this message about ‘Ruby Ruby‘ from the film:

In one scene from the trailer, Anushka Sharma (a journalist) asks Ranbir (Sanjay Dutt) how many girlfriends he has had, and he answer is 350, if she includes prostitutes!

With such shocking revelations, Ranbir Kapoor‘s role in ‘Sanju’ takes us through Sanjay Dutt’s life – his drug addiction days, womanising, to last but not the least, his time in jail.

When the trailer of ‘Sanju‘ got released, Sanjay Dutt himself, sent this video message for the entire cast and crew:

Sanjay Dutt in his hey days, dated then-actress Tina Mumim, now Tina Ambani. They fell in love during ‘Rocky’ but Tina left Sanjay because of his drug addiction.

Sanjay also romantically dated Madhuri Dixit, during their ‘Saajan‘ days. However, Madhuri’s father didn’t approve because Sanjay was already married to Richa Sharma.

Also, due to his involvement in 1993 Mumbai blasts case, Madhuri left him for good. They also starred in the famous song “Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai” from ‘Khalnayak’.

But, do you know that it wasn’t Madhuri who had an issue with the ‘climax’ scene of ‘Sanju’. It’s one of Ranbir Kapoor’s most closest confidante and one person he can’t live without!

You’ll be surprised to know that she’s also a Bollywood actress, one who Ranbir consults every time before signing any script. It’s none other than his mother Neetu Kapoor.

It’s Neetu who advises Ranbir over meaningful scripts and regarding ‘Sanju’, he confessed this about her:

“My mother was the first person I took the story to. I always take her opinion on any script I am offered. She just had one slight issue with it which she herself told Raju sir and Raju sir was happy to make the changed which in turn also changed the dynamic of climax of the film.”

Here’s the official trailer of ‘Sanju’ and we are sure people can’t wait for June 29 for its release!
