Cringe-pop sensation Dhinchak Pooja literally broke the internet with her (in)famous song, ‘selfie maine le li aaj’. Her style of singing, the lyrics and her antics were so bad that no one could ignore her. So, when she came in as an added contestant on Bigg Boss 11, it was known that she will soon emerge as the newest butt of all ridicule. And so was it. From Hina Khan’s condescending remarks regarding Pooja’s hygiene to Salman Khan’s light-hearted jokes on her, in her short stay in the house, she has seen it all.

In fact, if you follow Bigg Boss, you would know how deeply has Salman “fallen in love” with Pooja’s ‘selfie maine le li aaj’ song. In the ‘Weekend ka War’ episode, Salman appeared on stage singing a song – ‘khel mein ho gai Pooja fail, pahuch gai woh seedhe jail’ – in the tune of Pooja’s cult classic.

Not just him, but the entire team of ‘Golmaal Again’, who were there for promoting the movie, could not help themselves from teasing Pooja. The episode saw the presence of famous actress Tabbu, director Rohit Shetty, actor Ajay Devgn and Parineeti Chopra. Amid all of them, Salman asked Pooja to sing a song.

And that was it! There was a pretty awkward moment out there. While Salman was giving his sly expression, Rohit Shetty struggled hard to keep his amusement at bay and so was Ajay Devgn. But Tabbu and Parineeti Chopra couldn’t hold on and burst out in laughter.

Dhinchak Pooja is a YouTube sensation, whose songs – ‘Selfie maine le li aaj’, ‘shooter hai mera scooter’, ‘swag wali topi’, ‘babu de de thoda cash’, etc. – have become raging hits. She entered the Bigg Boss house as a special contestant only a week back. Now, it remains to be seen how many weeks she can sustain amid such jokes, laughter and occasional bouts of hatred.
