Amitabh Bachchan, the Big B of Bollywood needs no introduction as his work speaks for itself. Countless people across the globe admire him and his body of work. And why not? He is as good as royalty around here. Even celebs from Bollywood itself go crazy over Big B and his big personality. And actor Angad Bedi is no exception. He recently confessed to being a big fan of Mr. Bachchan.
Angad Bedi, the 35-year-old from Delhi is a former cricketer who took to acting. He began his Bollywood career with F.A.L.T.U., the 2011 comedy movie. Angad was also a part of Pink in which he fulfilled his dream of working with Big B.
In a recent interview, the actor talked about Big B and his love for him. Here is what Angad Bedi reportedly said:
“I have a big man crush on Amitabh Bachchan. While growing up when I used to watch his films, I wanted to say dialogues like him and also run like the way he does in the movies. I grew up on a dose of Mr Bachchan’s films like Shahenshah, Mard, Silsila, Kabhie Kabhie, Namak Haraam, Naseeb, Shakti, Khuda Gawah. And I remembered all the stories of these films.”
Angad also explained how one of Big B’s decisions left him heartbroken. Not just this! He also went onto to say that it was Mr. Bachchan who inspired him into taking up acting.
The actor added:
“In fact, when he took a break after Khuda Gawah, it broke my heart. I would watch all his films in the theatres and on VHS along with my cousins. I have grown up admiring Mr. Bachchan. That’s where the seeds of me wanting to venture into acting and cinema were sown.”
Well, who isn’t inspired by Mr. Bachchan? We are sure he is behind a lot of young boys wanting to join the Hindi film industry, Bedi being one of them.
On the personal front, Angad Bedi tied the knot to actress Neha Dhupia a few months ago. The couple has just been blessed with a cute little baby girl. And we’d like to congratulate both of them and wish them all the happiness in the world.
