Lok Sabha members have requested the speaker Sumitra Mahajan to send AAP MP Mann to a ‘drugs and alcohol de-addiction’ at the expenditure of the house.
The letter’s signatories include suspended AAP MP Harinder Khalsa, BJP MP Mahesh Giri and SAD MP Chadumajra. “Would be grateful that Bhagwant Mann be sent on a Rehab centre for drugs/alcohol de-addiction by LS on LS expenditure,” the MPs wrote.
Mann, who came under fire doing a Facebook Live while entering the Parliament, has previously also faced similar accusations.
Last month, Khalsa accused Mann of coming to the Parliament in an inebriated condition.
The MPs have urged the Speaker to ensure that Mann is allowed to take part in Lok Sabha proceedings only after completing rehab.
