Puducherry Lt.Governor and former IPS officer, Kiran Bedi, was spotted covering her face and riding a scooter at midnight in Puducherry.
Bedi has tweeted a post where she posted a picture of herself on a scooter with her face covered on a street in Puducherry. She explained that she did this because she wanted to check on the security measures taken by the administration in the Union Territory.

The tweet also revealed that she takes regular rounds of the city to check on security and cleanliness. She also mentioned that although she was very satisfied with the security standards, there was room for improvement. Bedi also urged the residents to approach the police by dialing 100 and connect to the PCR. Bedi wanted to see for herself as to how safe the women are at night in the city and hence applied her tried and tested method.
As soon as she posted on Twitter, several users appreciated her step and provided their valuable feed back.
One user urged her to wear a helmet.
