Anil Kumble was in the news a lot after he stepped down as Indian cricket team’s coach and blamed Virat Kohli for his decision in a public post.
Looks like BCCI hasn’t forgotten those days yet. The BCCI posted a cold tweet on Kumble’s 47th birthday. Instead of calling him former Team India’s coach, BCCI called Anil Kumble “former Team India’s bowler”. The board has now deleted their old tweet but its screenshot is still going viral on the internet.

Such is an influence of Virat Kohli that even BCCI forgot Anil Kumble was once the Indian captain and coach, as well.

After seeing the backlash, BCCI soon deleted their tweet and posted a new one. However, the board still didn’t address Kumble as Team India’s former coach rather used words like “Former Captain” and “legend”.
