‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ To Be Dubbed In Sign Language Upon Geeta’s Request

According to Press Trust of India, 2015’s hit Bollywood movie ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ would be dubbed in sign language upon “real life Munni” Geeta’s request.


Geeta is a deaf-mute Indian girl who got stranded in Pakistan over a decade ago and is now set to return to India on October 26.

Geeta, who is a big fan of Bollywood actor Salman Khan, reportedly made the request during her recent interaction with the press.


Besides making the request to be able see the movie in sign language, she also expressed her desire to be able to meet Salman Khan along with her family members.


The report further states that not only did the filmmakers agreed to Geeta’s request, but also took the initiative that the dubbing is done with help from persons with special needs.

They will seek help from a centre for persons with special needs which is being run in Tukoganj police station so that they get the translation perfectly and special people like Geeta can watch and appreciate the movie.

Bollywood movie ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ is a story about a mute Pakistani girl who loses her way on the Indo-Pak border and ends up stranded in India.

Salman Khan’s character then takes it upon himself to re-unite the little girl with her family.
