Major Gogoi became the hero of many when he tied a stone pelter on his jeep and saved lives in violence-stricken Kashmir. He was both criticized and praised for this act. However, the turning point of this incident was when the Army awarded him for the operation. But did you know that there is another ‘man of steel’ who did the same thing in the past?
It is none other than Mithun Chakraborty, the man who has given life to some of the most badass characters in Bollywood. The scene is from his movie ‘Kranti Kshetra’ released in 1994 in which Mithun Chakraborty tied the villain Puneet Issar on the bonnet of his jeep.

Puneet Isshar plays the role of Shaitan Singh and Mithun plays an honest and responsible army man. Interestingly, Mithun is also a Major in the movie — Major Barkat Ali — tasked with catching Shaitan.
Seems like making the bad guy a human shield has been the favorite move of Mithun’s as in his 1991 release ‘Pyar Ka Devta’, he tackled the villain (Shakti Kapoor) by tying him to his car.
