The world is a small place. We have all grown up believing that we all are related to each other but the scientific advancements have started to prove it.
According to a research, Jaya Bhaduri, Lal Bahadur Shastri and Subash Chandra Bose are all connected to each other. The study explores the history of five Kayastha families from Kannauj in UP who migrated to Bengal hundreds of years back. Along with them, five Brahmin families also migrated to Bengal who were later named as Mukherjee and Banerjee.
The five kulin Kayastha lineages in Bengal, which may have descended from Kayasthas of UP, are Bose, Mitra, Ghosh, Dutta and Guha. The study combined the historical analysis with genetics of a small group of individuals who belonged to the present day kulin Kayastha families.
