For some strange reason Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan insulted the Indian Army with very deplorable comment.
He practically insinuated that Indian Army personnel who were brutally killed by terrorists were rapists.
Khan, who is known for making controversial statements, was addressing a gathering in Rampur in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday night.
This is what he said:
“Armed women terrorists killed soldiers. The part of the body they cut off unveils a truth about Hindustan. Some terrorists behead soldiers or amputate them, but in this case female terrorists cut off the private parts of the soldiers. They cut off the part with which they had a problem. This is such a huge incident, it should shame India and make us wonder how we will show our face to the world.”

Exactly what incident Khan is referring to in his comment is not known, but the comment is very disgraceful. This is one of the false allegations levelled by Pakistan and pro-Pakistan forces in the Valley.
Khan’s remarks defames the world’s third largest professional armed force, which has been upholding the Constitution ever since the nation’s Independence from the British rule.
But the SP leader, who has been a three-time MLA from Rampur, is not the first one to demonize the Armed Force. Before him, a select few consisting of writers, politicians and other ‘intellectuals’ from Leftist, anti-BJP, pro-Kashmiri Separatist groups criticized the Indian Army and even the Army chief.
Azam Khan & Kejriwal give such statements against Army to please their masters in Pak. It helps pak to spread false propaganda against Army.

Dear #AzamKhan, Indian Army human rights record is best in world. Only 66 of 1,695 rights abuse claims found to be true in 23 yrs & No Rape.

Sambit Patra the national spokesperson of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national described the remark made by Azam Khan as shameful.
“Azam Khan never treated India as his country…. His allegation that the Indian Army outrages the modesty of our mothers and sisters in Jammu and Kashmir shows his own narrow mindset. Azam Khan constantly tries to speak in favor of Pakistan and break the social fabric of this country. It has become the fashion to demean the Indian Army in the name of freedom of expression,” Patra said in a press briefing.
What is particularly disturbing is the fact there is a constant attempt at defaming and demoralizing the Indian Army by the Leftists and anti-BJP leaders who are willing to destabilize the country under the guise of anti-BJP and anti-Sangh protests.
Our soldiers are attaining martyrdom in Kashmir and elsewhere but the Leftsists, who also dominate a section of the media, are creating a false narrative which demeans the armed forces. In fact, there was very strong and united condemnation of the Major Gogoi incident by Leftist forces.
And while there is constant condemnation of mob lynching by so-called Gau Rakshaks, there is hardly any condemnation of similar lynchings committed by Islamic fanatics and Left-wing goons. There was no vociferous condemnation from the Left of the lynching episode of DSP Mohammad Ayub Pandith. And hardly did any Leftist praise his family which proudly declared that they are Indians.
Such comments directly help Pakistan in going ahead with their baseless accusations against India on the international stage. These are the comments that empower the Separatists in the Valley allowing them to brainwash more impressionable minds in favor of Pakistan.
There has been no apology yet from Azam Khan and neither any comment from Samajwadi Party president Mulayam Singh Yadav or former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav.
Previously, Khan had to apologize for calling the July 2016 Bulandshahr gang-rape a “political conspiracy”. But the apology came only after the Supreme Court demanded it.
