The film features the story of a grown-up son who is embarrassed by his parents’ active sex life which results in his mother getting pregnant at the age when most women are on the verge of attaining menopause. His mother’s role is impressively played the multi-talented actress Neena Gupta, while his father, played by Gajraj Rao adds the right amount laughter.

Sanya Malhotra and Ayushmann Khurrana’s romance in the trailer of Badhaai Ho is refreshing to see. Yet another intriguing element in the trailer was the cheeky dialogues of the surprised old grandma of Ayushmann Khurrana played by Surekha Sikri.
