Aussie Journo Ridiculed Virat Kohli, Faced A Huge Backlash By Kohli’s Indo-Pak Fans On Twitter

Indian cricketers are back in the news and this time for not participating in the World XI Tour that is taking place in Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium. One of the reasons behind staying away from this tournament is to avoid their visit to Pakistan. Noticing the worsening relationship between India and Pakistan, and all the attacks that our arch enemies have planned to threaten us, the cricketers might have decided to stay away from the tournament. Yes, cricket is above boundaries but no mercy should be shown to those who are harmful to our motherland.

There have been a lot of discussions about Indian cricketers not being a part of The World XI Tour. Taking a step forward, an Australian journalist named Dennis decided to insult Indian skipper, Virat Kohli.

The journalist posted a picture of Kohli in which he is seen holding a huge broom and cleaning a cricket stadium. The photograph was taken last year when Virat Kohli took part in Modi’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan. Calling Virat Kohli a “sweeper”, this is what Dennis wrote in his tweet,

This act by the Aussie journalist was enough to ignite Kohli fans. Virat Kohli’s fans from India and Pakistan blasted him and thrashed him on Twitter for insulting their star. Check out the angry reactions the tweet got:
