Former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee Passes Away At 93, And The Nation Mourns!

Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee took his last breath in AIIMS today. He was 93 years old. In a press release issued by AIIMS, the confirmation of his demise was given. Vajpayee was admitted in the hospital on June 11, 2018. His condition worsened over the last 24 hours. He had urinary tract infection, low urine output, and chest congestion during the time of his admission. Finally, he left us on August 16, 2018.

One of India’s most iconic leaders, he was someone who helped India to pave the path of being a global superpower. Naturally, condolences have started pouring in from different parts of the country. Awarded with India’s highest civilian honour, the Bharat Ratna, he became India’s Prime Minister thrice. Though Atal Bihari Vajpayee is no more, he will always remain alive in our hearts.



Narendra Modi, who visited the hospital to take a check on his condition, tweeted a few minutes back expressing his grief. In a series of tweets, he stated:
