Arshad Warsi Hits Out At Modi For Demonetizing Currency Notes And Gets Trolled Instead

On November 8, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 currency notes won’t be considered as legal tender. He said the move was taken to curb black money flowing in the market. Many, including his critics, appreciate his move. However, some thought it’s was just an eye wash. Amongst them is the Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi.

The actor, best known for his role in Munnabhai MBBS, in a series of tweets criticised the PM Modi’s move.

He further asked the Prime Minister to make effective laws and amend the old ones to curb black money in the country.

However, twitteratis were fumed and trolled him for his tweets.
