It would be the biggest day in the history of TRP-obsessed Indian news channels when two giants of their own field having polar opposite ideologies collide on a show that has become the talk of the nation.
Arnab is the face of Indian nationalism. To those who dare speak against the country, he is unforgiving. (Yes, you can say that he is the judge, jury and executioner for everyone on his show.)
He became the toast of the country with his outburst on one of the students who participated in the event where terrorist Afzal Guru and Maqbool Bhatt were being hailed as ‘martyrs’.
On the other hand, Sagarika Ghose is a fierce Leftist-Liberal; so fierce that she might appear to have sympathy for even those who insult the nation. Take this for example:
Universities are places where all ideas should have full freedom. Don’t shut down any idea! The free mind is key to a free society.!

It was her take on the JNU ‘anti-national’ protest row. Of course, Twitterati did not let Sagarika get away with this.
But since debates give us the high, there would be nothing better than having Arnab Goswami question Sagarika Ghose on why she posted such a ridiculous tweet.
But will we ever get to see a debate between Goswami and Ghose? Maybe not, because Ghosh is the Consulting Editor of The Times of India and Goswami is the Editor-in-Chief of TimesNow, both are part of Bennett, Coleman and Company Limited (BCCL).
So, practically, if they ever debate, it would be a Times vs Times match, which reminds me of the Undertaker vs Undertaker match that ended as one hell of a joke.
