To establish a strong and meaningful contact with the youth of Kashmir, the Indian Army organised free tuitions classes for the needy students of Baramulla district.
The aim of the initiative was to help students of the far flung areas. Army took classes for the needy students of Class 10 to 12 at various Schools of the district.
Baramulla, which is located in Northern Kashmir on the banks of river Jhelum, has faced many attacks from the militants.
The tuitions were held for a month and concluded on Feburary 25.
Talking about the initiative, Major General Jai Singh Nain said:

“The aim of conducting tuition classes is to provide free education to needy children of the far flung areas in order to create better future prospects for the students.”
He then went on to motivate the children to dream big and also urged the parents and teachers to aim at holistic development of the students.
