The Indian Army on October 18 announced that it was prepared to deal with any misadventure that Pakistan throws their way from across the LoC.
In the wake of surgical strikes that took place in Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK) on September 29, a lot of ceasefire violations have been taking place from across the border.
The statement was given by Lt Gen Satish Dua, who is Army’s General Officer Commanding of Srinagar-based 15 corps.

“I do admit that some infiltration has taken place, but the encounters along the LoC and the number of militants eliminated shows the preparedness of the Army.”
“I do not have any different point of view.”
