If you are an EDM fan, I bet Armin Van Buuren is your godfather. The DJ’s first ever Armin only India Tour is a chance for all EDM fans to finally take off their earphones, and dance to the rhythm of live Music. Hungry Dance Music Lovers can join Armin and his band of spanking new music gems from across the globe, live on 24th January in Mumbai. This time around he’s here for promoting his 6th album, “Intense,” at Sunburn Arena. # 1 and #2 DJ of the DJ Mag Top 100 since 2007, it’s time to feast your eyes and ears with an experience not fathomable by the Indian Audience. Decorated with fireworks, lots of special effects, long hours of music and dance, the show is all set to redefine EDM festival Experience in India, and here’s how.
1. Six Hours of Non-Stop Dance and Music
Although the concert is being called “Armin only,” there will be many others performing with Armin. The six hours long marathon of music will see many budding and established artists like “Fiora,” “Trevor Guthrie,” “Cindy Alma,” “Richard Bedfor,” “Laura Evans,” and many other Electronic Music Artists. Armin junior, Ellervan Buuren will also perform with his brother. Former Model, and now singer, song writer, he brings on board his mad guitar skills and will mostly perform acoustic dance numbers.
2. Fusion between Electronic Beats and Live Music
The EDM Concert isn’t all about electronics only, a wide array of instruments like Violins, Pianos, Guitars, Drums and more will be used simultaneously, to create an all new music experience for the audience. Ellervan Buuren, Armin’s younger brother will lead the battalion with his acoustic guitar numbers. Vocalists, who’ve collaborated with him on the album, will accompany him for this musical sojourn. Australian Singer Emma Hewitt, Canadian singer and song writer Trevor Guthrie and others.
3. First Time, Indian Audience will see a Flying Sphere on Stage
For the first time in India, audience will see a colossal flying sphere On Stage during the live performance. Along with this prop, to create a perfect visual effect, exceptional pyrotechnics and laser will also be used. Trance and dance remains incomplete without the presence of spectacular light effects, which are often used in pubs and clubs, but what the Armin show will bring, is going to raise the standards high above the normal.
4. Trampoline and Acrobats
Dancing for continuous six hours, going wild, certainly calls for a pleasant break in between. There’s all chance for you to go wilder with some throbbing trampoline and acrobats performances. World class athletes and entertainers have teamed up to let you experience theoretical magic, on a scale never used before. Dancers will also accompany the troop for offering a visual spectacle never seen before.
5. Smiling Ping Pongs
Ping Pongs can make anyone smile, and with dozens of them rising from the ground, smiling at you is certainly going to cheer your spirits up. “Smiling ping pongs” is another prominent feature of the Armin Concert. Audience is likely to dance and make merry with yellow ping pongs smiling at them from all corners of the stage. Catch them, bounce them, dance with them – they’ll accompany you if no one else does.
