The Indian Premier League (IPL) is going on in full swing. While cricketers or players are doing their part playing in the field, giving their best to win the match for the team, there is something interesting going on among fans in the world TROLLS. Winning or losing is part of every game. However, it seems like for many fans and sports lovers, not just cricket, any game is about winning and that losing is not a part of it. Such mindset and expectations are rampant among fans and sports lovers in India. While blaming, pointing fingers or slamming the players or their spouses after losing the match or game is not new, it happens yet again yesterday when Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) lost the match to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in their IPL clash.

It so happened that as RCB, which is led by Virat Kohli, lost the match, fans turned to his wife, Anushka Sharma, and slammed her and put the blame on her for the lost. They even called her ‘unlucky’ for Virat Kohli.

On Wednesday, the wife of RCB and Indian Cricket Team skipper Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma, was at Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru, to cheer for her husband during the match with CSK. The actress was boosting the morale of her husband as any other wife would do. But as RCB lost the match to CSK, she became a victim of trolls yet again.

Crazy fans took no time to put the blame on Mrs. Kohli. Some even went on to ask her to ‘not come to the stadium’ touting her to be unlucky for her husband.

Take a look at some of the crazy comments thrown at by Virat’s fans to Anushka.

What makes you say this?

Do you have the statistics to prove your claim?

Another time traveler!

However, some came out and defended Mrs. Kohli saying,

Needless to mention but this is not the first time that Anushka Sharma has been blamed for Virat Kohli’s non-performance on the pitch.

Even last year, when Team India lost the Champions Trophy to Pakistan, Twitterati blamed the actress for Kohli’s failure in the match. And even after the marriage, she was trolled for Team India’s defeat at the first test match during the South Africa tour. In fact, in 2016, Virat Kohli took to social media to shame his fans who trolled his then-girlfriend for his defeat. This is what he has tweeted:

Some people, fans, are just shameless indeed sometimes. What do you say?
