The entire country has been shaken by the sudden deaths of more than 60 children within a span of five days at the BRD Medical College at Gorakhpur.

It is said that alleged disruption of oxygen supply led to the deaths as the children were undergoing treatment for encephalitis.

Dr. Kafeel Khan, the head of the encephalitis ward at the hospital, is held responsible for his upheaval.

It is said he was in-charge of the purchase committee of the hospital which, reportedly, did not sanction the payment for oxygen cylinders on time. On the other side, he is called a messiah by some people, as he borrowed three oxygen cylinders from a private nursing home to save the lives of children who could have died.

It is also reported that Dr.Kafeel Khan practices at a private hospital of 50 beds for children in Gorakhpur, which is owned by his wife. On Sunday, Dr. Khan was sacked.

Celebrities and politicians have been voicing their opinion on this unfortunate incident, and the outspoken Anurag Kashyap is one of the few who allegedly attacked the UP government. He tweeted,

Though he made questionable remarks, Twitterati mercilessly attacked him,
