With the Indian Railways getting a modern makeover, train journeys will seemingly become more comfortable with new railway coaches boasting of superior technology and user-friendly features. From better food on the go and Aqua Guard filtered drinking water to superior WiFi connectivity and mobile charging points, these new racks are synonymous to on-the-go luxury and comfort for common Indian people.

The super fast, unreserved train was announced by former railway minister Suresh Prabhu last year in December. In his speech, Suresh Prabhu had said:

“Antyodaya Express will be a long-distance, fully unreserved, superfast train service, for the common man to be operated on dense routes.”

In fact, according to an article by the Financial Express, sources in the Railway Ministry had revealed that the toilets in these trains will be much akin to the ones found in the AC 1st class coaches of the Rajdhani Expresses. A source was quoted saying:

“The toilets in Antyodaya Express will be modular just like those in the AC-1st class coach of Rajdhani Express.”
