Cricket can be a dangerous game. After all, a ball is coming at a breakneck speed within 22 yards, and also, after a batsman hits it, its speed amplifies.
Though a cricket match looks really exciting from the outside, it is equally prone to accidents like any another sport.
Recently, a cricket game took a deadly turn during a T20 clash between Notts Outlaws and Birmingham Bears. Nottinghamshire bowler, Luke Fletcher, was smashed in the head by a ball, and, he suddenly flopped down to the ground.
Watch this very unfortunate incident here.
Players were left in tears seeing this horror, and the physios instantly came running to the field, and after an immediate aid, Fletcher walked off the field with a towel over his head.
The match was abandoned for at least 45 minutes as the players struggled to cope.
