Amitabh Bachchan Politely Shuts Down Troll Asking Him About His Contribution Towards Kerala Flood Relief

There’s no doubt that class and elegance are two epitomes of Amitabh Bachchan‘s personality. Not only does the veteran actor believe in sharing his immense wealth for important social causes, he hardly makes a hue and cries about it. Coming from an illustrated family of literates, poise and humbleness come naturally for Big B (fondly called). Amitabh Bachchan’s donations range from healthcare and education causes that he supports for the underprivileged.

The Sholay actor is also very active with his million followers on social media. Amitabh Bachchan‘s donations are so huge yet he never talks about it with his fans (whom he calls EF – extended family).

The KBC (Kaun Banega Crorepati) host made his EF (just like me) go crazy when he announced the tenth season of the show on Twitter recently:

However, just a few days before that, he grew emotional when former prime minister 93-year-old Atal Bihari Vajpayee passed away (leaving us with a heavy heart) on August 16.

On the same day, he pledged that “we must do all we can to contribute as much as we can towards the needs of the people of Kerala”. Here’s what he wrote:

The Shahenshah of Bollywood also retweeted his son Abhishek Bachchan‘s plea for donating for the same cause:

Even as the torrential rains have finally abated, it wasn’t before claiming over 300 lives and dislocating over one million people in relief camps. Pakistan’s new prime minister Imran Khan also extended his support in this difficult time:

Meanwhile, Big B also emphasized the fact that the situation is very scary and tweeted emergency helpline numbers for supporters:

However, on a recent post, a user asked him “Kerala ko donation diya?”. While we don’t expect Amitabh to respond to every tweet, he made an exception for this one!

Regarding Amitabh Bachchan’s donations, he replied “Ji diya.. Pata chal gaya aapko.. Aapne diya kya?” Apparently, the actor and his family have already donated towards the flood-ravaged state.

His donations include Rs. 51 lakh cash, along with six cartons of his personal clothing – from 80 jackets, 25 pants, 20 shirts, scarves, to around 40 pairs of shoes!

Amitabh Bachchan’s donations for flood-hit Kerala have not gone unnoticed. The relief fund is coordinated by sound designer Resul Pookutty for Kerala Chief Minister’s Distress Relief, who tweeted his appreciation:

Meanwhile, the 75-year old will next be seen in Thugs Of Hindostan with Aamir Khan. This is Amitabh Bachchan‘s alleged look in the film:

The movie is slated to release on November 7, 2018. Meanwhile, Bollywood celebrities continue to urge fans to raise funds for helping the people of Kerala and you must contribute as well.
