In India, gender inequality exists in every field. Whether it is the workplace, politics or health sector, very often, women are not given the prime importance and are placed after men. Sadly, masculinity is seen as a symbol of intellect and courage, which is so distorted and wrong.
The truth is that women are equally hardworking, intelligent and independent just as men. Furthermore, they deserve the same respect and stature. Recently, woman scientists played a vital role in ISRO’s record-breaking mission, which is indeed applaudable.
Moreover, this gender inequality also exists in our homes. Whenever there is distribution of assets among the people in the house, men always have the upper hand. Why?
