India clinched the Twenty20 tri-series after securing four-wicket victory against a gallant Bangladesh side on March 18.

During the match, every cricket fan was at the edge of their seat with the match remaining undecided till the very last ball.

Thanks to India’s wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Karthik’s amazing batting performance, the visitors were able to win the match and thus get home the tri-series trophy.

Like every fan, Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan too was watching the match and soon after DK’s last ball six, he sent out a tweet congratulating him for his match-winning performance.

Unfortunately, in his excitement, AB committed an error and instead of ’34 needed’ wrote ’24 needed’.

Being a huge celebrity with over 33.6 million followers his mistake was soon noticed by thousands of his fans who immediately pointed it out.

Unperturbed by the error, Big B soon sent out a correction along with an apology for Dinesh Karthik.

While DK posted a humble reply, we are sure he had no problem with such a small mistake.

During the match, Karthik had pulled a MS Dhoni and hit last-ball six thus beating Bangladesh by four wickets.

Karthik’s gem of an innings had him score 29 off just 8 balls which included two boundaries and three sixes.

What are your thoughts on Big B’s error and correction? Was the apology tweet to DK needed?
