On Friday, reports doing the rounds stated that Ambani is already working on the plan and will launch the service by the end of 2017.
FactorDaily had reported that RIL wanted to launch the taxi service after April “but it might take up to six months more depending how the commercial rollout pans out”.

Speculations that Reliance would be launching a taxi service have been gaining strength following the massive launch of Reliance Jio.
Last week Jio entered into a strategic partnership with Uber. Those who use taxi aggregator’s service can now pay for their rides through Jio’s prepaid wallet.
