Akshay Kumar turned mentor for Taapsee Pannu in their upcoming film, ‘Naam Shabana’. Taapsee was required to undergo rigorous training sessions to perform her action stunts in the film and Akshay helped her with a few action tricks during the course of the shoot.
Akshay, who is popularly called the ‘Khiladi of Bollywood’, went out of his way to supervise and shared his action expertise with Taapsee to help her confidently perform her stunts with the correct technique.
His guidance helped in keeping her motivated.
‘Baby’, which had garnered so many accolades, has created immense curiosity amongst the audience to witness Taapsee’s role in ‘Naam Shabana’, which is an extension to her 20 minutes role in ‘Baby’.
‘Naam Shabana’ is India’s first spin-off based on Taapsee’s character in Neeraj Pandey’s ‘Baby’.
She is essaying the role of an undercover agent and is being seen in an all-new action avatar. She has taken training to learn martial arts, target shooting and perform daredevil action sequences in the film.
The trailer of the film is already grabbing eyeballs for its content and the audience is looking forward to stellar performances by the cast. The film also stars Manoj Bajpayee and the ‘Baby’ cast would be seen doing interesting cameos.
Gulshan Kumar and Cape of Good Films presents, a Plan C Studios production, directed by Shivam Nair, Neeraj Pandey’s ‘Naam Shabana’ is all set to release on 31st March 2017.
