Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ is set to release on August 11, 2017. However, the actor won’t be spending any time promoting the film as he will be in London shooting. In fact, he left the country a couple of weeks back and took off for Europe with his family for a vacation.
Some time back, Akshay would leave the country just before his film was about to release. That’s because the actor felt his films worked better when he was traveling. However, that changed a few years ago. So it might be a mere co-incidence this time.
‘Gold’ is set in 1948. The movie will depict the story behind India winning its first hockey gold medal in the Olympics as a free country. Since Akshay, Amit, Kunal and Sunny are playing hockey players in the film, they are being trained by different hockey coaches, especially, by the former Indian captain, Sandeep Singh, to improve their hockey skills.
As per the report,
Sandeep Singh trained the actors for a few months before they flew off for the international schedule. The Arjuna awardee who took over as captain of the Indian national team in January 2009, was roped in to ensure that the actors looked like authentic hockey players on the field. In Bradford, the team is also holding auditions at the city centre for local actors to portray international hockey players of the rival team. An international coach has been hired to train them there.
