Akshay Kumar is an actor who started to rule the screens in the ’90s and continues to do so till date, despite the entry of a number of fresh faces in the industry. Akshay Kumar’s impeccable talent has helped him win two Filmfare Awards and a National Award. He has also been awarded Padma Shri by the Government of India and an honorary doctorate by The University of Windsor for his contribution to the Indian cinema.
So far, Akshay has worked in more than 100 films and he is known for being the highest tax payer of the Indian film industry. Many of his films have had a huge box office collection.
But despite having done so many films and being one of the top actors of India, Akshay Kumar hasn’t worked with two top actresses of Bollywood. Wondering who they are? Read on to know!
1. Rani Mukerji
Rani Mukerji is an actress who needs no introduction. She made her debut in Bollywood in 1997 with ‘Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat’ and her next films ‘Ghulam’ & ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ created history. Since then, Rani Mukerji’s name is always there on the list of top Bollywood actresses.
She has done films with all the three Khans and most other top actors in the film industry but not Akshay Kumar. Well, there is no particular reason behind why the two biggies haven’t worked opposite each other. It will definitely be interesting to see them share the screen!
2. Kangana Ranaut
Known as the ‘Queen’ of Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut is an actress who has carved a position for herself in the industry despite being an outsider. She has worked with some of the finest actors of Bollywood but surprisingly not with Akshay Kumar. Well, there are no reports of the two sharing any bad equation, hence, the two not having worked together can just be a coincidence!
Recently, the two have been in the news together, not for sharing the screen but for the possibility of a clash in the release of their upcoming films. According to media reports, the release of Akshay Kumar’s ‘Gold’ might clash with Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Manikarnika’. However, it will be more interesting to see them share the screen instead of the release date of their separate films! What do you think? Do let us know in the comments section!
